INDUSTRIOUS 15 MINUTES OF FAME: MEET KAYBREE!
1) What (who) brought you to Industrious?
I worked with coach Chryssie at Scotts Bar and Grill. I remember everyone talked about how she was super fit and strong because she did CrossFit. I had no idea what CrossFit was so I went home and looked it up and instantly wanted to give it a shot! At the time, I was a member at 24 Hour Fitness. I hated working out because I thought it was boring and viewed it more as a chore vs a hobby. I was ready for a change. I came into Industrious at 6am for my first class and was instantly hooked!
2) What is the most significant change you have experienced since you have been here?
There’s been so many significant changes in my life since joining the gym! For starters, I am the strongest I have ever been and I am only getting stronger as time goes on. I think the most significant (and my favorite) change has just been the change in my lifestyle. After starting at Industrious, I truly learned what a healthy lifestyle looks like. That includes everything from working out and eating properly all the way to healthy relationships and living the best life possible.
3) What is your favorite thing about Industrious?
This question is really hard because there are so many things that I love about the gym. I absolutely love the coaches, they are all so special and so good at their job. I also love the community. It doesn’t matter if you are 16 or 60, there will always be someone reaching out to get to know you, cheering you on during a workout, and just welcoming you into the family. This community that the gym has built is rare and very special and it is something that I cherish very much.
4) What are your goals or aspirations for this year?
Get a dang muscle up!! I’ve been really close to one for awhile and I am ready to just finish it already!! I also hope to compete in some local competitions and maybe do a weightlifting meet or two.
5) Share one thing we do NOT know about you!
I was born in a very small town in Idaho and grew up there for 10 years before moving to Washington. I now am the only one out of my immediate family that lives in the state!
