The collection bin is setup in the lobby to start collecting food donations NOW for our 7th Annual Fran for Food Drive!!! Our collection will finish off at the event this Saturday, but please feel free to bring food in now if you can’t make it on Saturday, or so you don’t forget!
Last year we collected over 2,000lbs for The Nourishing Network of The Foundation for Edmonds School District – this year our goal is 3,000lbs! Please donate what you can and help us reach our goal!
The Nourishing Network serves the Edmonds School District, providing kids and families in our neighborhood with food when they cannot get free/reduced lunch at school. There are 600 homeless kids in the Edmonds School District, across all Elementary, Junior High, and High Schools. They are always in need over the weekends and over long holiday breaks from school when the kids do not have their guaranteed meals that they get at school.
